Colm Farrell – Film-maker, Editor, Assistant-Editor.

 
I graduated from Ballyfermot Media College with a diploma in Film Production.
I started out primarily as an Editor and Assistant Editor using Final Cut Pro.
I have work as an editor and assistant editor on Feature Film, documentary, art installations and gallery screenings.
I also direct short comedy films for events, fundraisers and film competitions.
I record GAA games and direct , shoot and edit sport motivational films.
 
Some Credits include :
Director – ‘Salome’ I directed, shot and edited 4 short films for the Irish language play ‘Salome’. The play was performed in the Glen’s Centre in Manorhamilton by Irish language theatre company, Splodar.
Sue’s Zoo – Editor and equipment support for the film promo of the documentary on Sue Palings Donkey Sanctuary.
Assistant Editor on the Feature ’32A’ directed by Marian Quinn and produced by Janey Pictures.
Editor on ‘Mount Analogue’ , a short film by the Walker Brothers and shot by PJ Dillon.
Editor on ‘Lebanon’ – A harrowing film by artist Jackie McKenna, on the massacre in Lebanon in 2006.
Editor ‘N4′ a permanent film installation at the site of the south Leitrim N4 motarway.
Editor on the film installation part of painter Nick Miller’s recent installation at the 2011 Kilkenny Art’s Festival.
